Porsche Commercial

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRbzJ0L1Zn8

A boy named William, who is probably in the 5th grade, is sitting in class next to a window when a Porsche drives by distracting him from his class. The boy drools over the car expressing his love for nice cars. The boy then starts to draw the car, not paying attention to his teacher. After class William races out of the school and he rides his bike to the Porsche dealership where he meets the car salesmen. William asks the salesmen if he has the new 911 Carrera (obviously he knows what kinds of cars he's into and knows alot about them. The salesmen lets William sit in the car and observe the leather interior, but he can't see over the steering wheel. William then decides he has to have the Porsche for himself when he's older so he asks the salesmen for his card and says he'll be seeing him in twenty years.

I think the point of this commercial is that for something that expensive you have to work hard to get it, so I think the boy sees something that he wants and knows that he'll have to work very hard to get what he wants and that he will have that car!

The myth would be that you don't have to work hard to get the good things in life, the things you want, I mean maybe if you're rich and just have everything handed to you then you dont have to work for anything but in reality, everybody has to work hard to get a Porsche. You have to work hard to get a nice house and then be able to afford a nice car like the Porsche.

There's nothing better than the feeling of working really hard for something and then achieving your goals and in the end being able to buy something that makes you feel like you accomplished alot. For this boy he reasures the salesmen that he will be back, so the boy knows he'll be the owner of the 911 Porsche in twenty years, and in the two decades in between that day the boy finds a passion for the car (like the commercial says).
